PENINGKATAN KETERAMPILAN MENGAJAR GURU PADA MATA PELAJARAN IPS MELALUI SUPERVISI AKADEMIK SD NEGERI 038 PULAU KIJANG
Abstract
The background of this study is the low teacher teaching skills in social studies subjects. To overcome this problem
researchers conduct research through the application of academic supervision. This research is a school action research
conducted at SD Negeri 038 Pulau Kijang. The subjects of this study were 10 teachers. The results of the study show that
teacher teaching skills have improved after the implementation of academic supervision. This can be seen in the pre-cycle
teacher teaching skills included in the sufficient category with an average score of 56.02. In the first cycle the teacher
teaching skills were included in the good category with an average score of 71.02. And in cycle II teacher teaching skills are
included in the good category with an average score of 76.34. Based on this acquisition it can be concluded that teacher
teaching skills in social studies subjects have increased after academic supervision has been applied.
