Abstract

This research analyzes the military cooperation between Indonesiaand Russia in Susilo Bambang Yudhoyono’s administration. Thiscooperation is based on the condition of Indonesian military defensethat has been poorly equipped. Russian was chosen because it is acountry that can compete with American and European militarytechnology without administration fee. The focus of military defensecooperation during Susilo Bambang Yudhoyono in the 2004-2009period is to renew and improve the condition and function the maintool of weapons system Indonesian armies.
