PENGARUH DESKRIPSI KERJA DAN PENEMPATAN TERHADAP KEPUASAN KERJA YANG BERDAMPAK TERHADAP EFEKTIVITAS ORGANISASI ( STUDI PADA PEGAWAI DEPARTEMEN PGT PT. CHEVRON PACIFIC INDONESIA)
Abstract
The purpose of this research is to find out the direct and indirect effect of job description and job
placement on organization effectiveness through job satisfaction. The population included all 212 employee
PGT department PT CPI. The sample consist of 139 persons using cluster random sampling. Variabel that being
used is job description and job placement as independent variabel, job satisfaction as variabel intervening and
organization effectiveness as variable dependent. The data were analyzed using path analysis using SPSS.
Purpose of this research is to see progress of organization effectiveness in PT CPI and to evaluate its job
satisfaction during change of job placement and job deskription. Primary data are collected to reveal employee
perceptions of the effectiveness of organization and their knowledgein their new job description, job placement
and job satisfaction.
Results shows that organization effectiveness for PT CPI develop because job satisfaction , job description, and
job placement of their employee. Employee knows job description to filled in. Finding also shows job placement
not significantly affect the effectiveness of the organization. The results of this paper is limited to the ability of
workers shows the results of the actual effectiveness of the organization.
