ANALISIS FAKTOR-FAKTOR PENENTU LOKASI INDUSTRI ROTAN DI KOTA PEKANBARU

Abstract

This research aims to determine whether the availability of electricity, water,
paved access roads, parking lots and security, proximity’s factor with other businesses,
customers, competitors, suppliers and equipment’s / supplies’s production, and cost
factors influence the determination’s location of the rattan industry in Rumbai ‘s
district of Pekanbaru’s city within business success.
This research surveys above variable data such as business success, proximity
to infrastructure, business environment and location of costs. While the scope of this
research is limited on the rattan industry in Pekanbar’s city. In this research, the data
collection method used direct observation, conducting interviews, and also used a list of
questions that are often mentioned in general by kuesioner. Population and sample are
31 sample rattan industry in Rumbai’s districts of Pekanbaru’s city in 2012. The
method of analysis used in this research is descriptive qualitative method, which
measures the degree of success the business as well as the attitudes, opinions, and
perception of the business choice of location decisions rattan industry in the
Pekanbaru’s city with a scale of 1 to 5 and then tested with the validity and reliability
testing .
From the results of the testing that has been done, the results of analysis of
validity and reliability using alpha conbach approach, it can be concluded the
availability of electricity, water, paved access roads, parking lots and security affect the
determination’s location of the rattan industry in Rumbai’s district of Pekanbaru’s city
within business success, proximity’s factor with other business’s environment,
customers, competitors, suppliers and equipmen’s / supplies’s production influence the
determination’s location of the rattan industry in Rumbai’s districy of Pekanbaru’s city
within the success of business, the cost of location’s factors influence the
determination’s location of the rattan industry in Rumbai’s district of Pekanbaru’s city
within business success.
