PENERAPAN PEMBELAJARAN KOOPERATIF TIPE NHT UNTUK MENINGKATKAN AKTIVITAS DAN HASIL BELAJAR KIMIA SISWA PADA MATERI IKATAN KIMIA
Abstract
Learning chemistry passively, monotonously and lacking enthuasiasme is leading to low student learning outcomes. According to the results of daily tests, only a few students who achieve mastery. One reason is the teachers still use conventional methods and models. To overcome these problems, improvements were made to the application of the learning process of cooperative learning NHT (Numbered Head Together). This study aims to determine whether the application of NHT type cooperative learning can enhance the activity and student learning outcomes in chemical bonding material. This research is a classroom action research conducted in SMA Negeri 1 Bantan class X in the academic year 2014/2015. The results showed that the chemical activity and increased student learning outcomes. In the first cycle of individual student mastery of 16 (59.3%) and students who did not complete as many as 11 (40.7%). After the corrective actions in the second cycle, the thoroughness of individuals increased to 21 (77.7%) students who completed and 6 (22.3%) of students who did not complete, an increase of 18.4%. Based on the results of this study concluded that cooperative learning NH could improve the activities and outcomes of learning chemistry student at the Institute of Chemistry of matter
