PENGARUH LIMBAH INDUSTRI Pb DAN Cu TERHADAP KESETIMBANGAN SUHU DAN SALINITAS DI PERAIRAN LAUT KOTA DUMAI

Abstract


Research on the effect of Pb and Cu industrial waste to equilibrium temperature and salinity in Dumai
seawaters have been done. Temperature and salinity measurements determined at three stations,
namely PT. KLK Dumai Port as Station I, the Estuary of Sungai Masjid as Station II and TPI
Purnama Dumai port as Station III for 3 days sampling and performed at 13.00 until 15.00 pm
simultaneously at three stations. Sampling was conducted to determine the temperature, salinity and
levels of Pb and Cu. Levels of Pb and Cu are known by using Atomic Absorption Spectrophotometer
or AAS. Results of research on temperature, salinity and the concentration of heavy metals Pb and Cu
highest sequential are 32 ° C, 37 ‰, 1.43 ppm and 0.028 ppm. Levels of heavy metals and tidal
conditions, affect the temperature and salinity of seawater samples.
