MANAJEMEN PELAYANAN PEMERINTAH DALAM PEMBANGUNAN PASAR

Abstract

This studyaims to determine how and to analyze the constraints or obstacles encountered in the process ofrevitalization of Cik Puan market in Pekanbaru. This study was designed with the method ofqualitative and descriptive research. Primary information sources is determined by using purposiveinformant and the necessary data is collected by interview and documentation . Based on theresearch and analysis of research data it can be seen that the revitalization of traditional marketsCik Puan not favor the small traders but rather is intended to change the management of the citygovernment in terms of service is more aligned to the private sector with discourse managementsystem Build Operating Transfer (BOT) for the government to get large compensation of thesystem. Constraints faced by the government or reasons used in service management market isthe question about the status of ownership, building permits market, revitalization fund budgetmarket development, and systems management.
