PENGAWASAN DPRD TERHADAP PELAKSANAAN PERDA

Abstract

The research looked atsurveillance conducted by the DPRD Pekanbaru City on the implementation of Regulation No. 10of 2006 on Water Resources and Infiltration Wells. Conditions Pekanbaru City is even morealarming when the rainy season lasts as evidenced by the increasing number of puddles anddisobedience citizens (government, privateand community) to regulation led to thecritical conditionof Pekanbaru City during the rainy season and theth reat to the availability of water in the dryseason. Based on the findings in the study that DPRD Pekanbaru City its role has supervision isdivided into preliminary control supervision, interim control and post control. In addition, DPRDPekanbaru City its role as a government watchdog agency also conducted a hearing with technicalagencies and conduct site inspections to see progress in implementing Regulation No. 10 of 2006.But the DPRD Pekanbaru City its task of over seeing the implementation of Pekanbaru in particularRegulation by law No. 10 in 2006 there has been not a strategic steps and implementing regulationsimposing sanctions on the Government of Pekanbaru City.
