PELAKSANAAN PROGRAM PEMBANGUNAN BERBASIS PEMBERDAYAAN MASYARAKAT

Abstract

This studyaims to determine the implementation of water supply and sanitation, community water with thepattern of development through the empowerment of Kuala Sungai Batang Village Sungai BatangDistrict Indragiri Hilir Regency. The method using a qualitative, approach that is both descriptionand uses a case study design. And researchist being the informants this study. Informants is a teamof community facilitators and community self-reliance institutions. The results showed that,implementation of the program directly not empower local economy. This program focus on providingdrinking water for the people, but the sustainability of this program can help ease the burden on thepublic and in the presence of water sources that could be used by people who are relativelyeconomical price. Improvement of human resources in the program many through training andmentoring. The positive impact of the training provided is not very influential in people’s daily life.But for the institution, this training helps in the implementation of program. But, still self supportingorganization can not be considered independent in carrying out its duties and functions.
