BUDAYA KESEHATAN DAN KESELAMATAN KERJA (K3) DALAM UPAYA MENCAPAI ZERO ACCIDENT

Abstract

PT. Indah Kiat Pulp and Paper, TBK., Perawang Mill, Siak Regency are part of the Sinarmas Group.
This company is a Pulp and Paper company which has a power plant and a chemical producer. The
basic material used in this production process is Eucalyptus, which will later be processed into pulp and
paper with a number of employees ± 7,303 people. Companies with thousands of employees certainly
have a great risk of danger considering that this company is a pulp and paper industry company. This
study wants to see and analyze the K3 culture that has been implemented by this company, as a form
of effort in realizing Zero Accident. This study uses a descriptive analysis method that looks at how far
the company's efforts to develop the K3 culture. The results of this study show that the efforts built by
the company have been very good, ranging from management commitment, OSH rules and procedures,
communication, and work environment. It's just that a major obstacle to the company is the indicator
of employee involvement. It is felt that workers have very little awareness of the importance of
applying K3 culture.
