PENERAPAN KNOWLEDGE MANAGEMENT PADA PERUSAHAAN PERBANKAN

Abstract


Implementation of knowledge management in banking companies seems to have become a fundamental
requirement in the current era of globalization. The ability of the company to manage the existing
knowledge is the necessary strength to survive. Knowledge management is an attempt to increase
knowledge useful in the organization. Knowledge management is not only an arrangement of knowledge,
but rather the management of an organization with a particular focus on knowledge. Implementation
of knowledge management with a web-based system, is expected to be a solution of the needs of the
flow of knowledge that is not hindered by time constraints and geographical location. In the era of
knowledge management, conventional banking management practices that only base tangible production
inputs such as human resources, capital, debt, land, buildings, energy, and office equipment are no
longer sufficient as a key element to improve the bank's core competencies. Today there is one production
input called knowledge management that is more intangible, but has a very big role in improving
the core competencies of the bank.
