Penerapan Materi E – Learning Untuk Meningkatkan Kemampuan Menyimak (Listening Comprehension) Mahasiswa Program Studi Pendidikan Bahasa Inggris FKIP UNRI
Abstract
This research is aimed at improving the students’ ability in ListeningComprehension 1 subject. In this research, E-Learning was applied. This research wasconducted in two cycles, each of them was done in 4 meetings. The variablesinvestigated include in three phases, namely: Pre-Listening(Introduction to topic andtask), Whilst-Listening ( Task, Report), and Post Listening (Analysis, Practice). Thedata of this research were the students’ listening comprehension ability. Before E-Learning was applied, a pre-test was conducted while a post-test was administered afterthe treatment. The data were analyzed by comparing the result of pre-test and the resultof post test. The findings showed that there was an increase from 53,5 in Pre- Test to64,3 in Post-test (Cycle 1) and to 73,3 in Post- Test (Cycle 2). Therefore, it can beconcluded that the application of E- Learning is significantly effective in improving thestudents’ ability in listening comprehension.
