Pengaruh Investasi PT Adei Plantation dan Industri Terhadap Pertumbuhan Ekonomi Riau 2008-2011

Abstract

This study is an elaborate study of the influence of Kuala Lumpur KepongBerhad Investment Through PT Adei Plantation & Industry for Riau Growth in2008-2011. The purpose of this study was to clarify the effect of foreigninvestment on economic growth in Riau. Based on the concept of ForeignDirect Investment and the Theory of Investment. According to Krugman is theCapital of Foreign Direct investment is the flow of international capital from acountry where companies establish or expand his company in another country.Therefore not only the transfer of resources, but also occurs in the applicationof control of the company's overseas results of this study found that investmentin the plant by PT Adei Plantation and Industry to give effect to the foursectors of economic growth in Riau, among others, development of valueinvestment in the plantation sector, increase local employment, poverty andhelp pengurngan revenue through corporate contributions to the tax. Fromthese results, it can mean that direct foreign investment provides benefits to theeconomy growth to the communities in Riau both locally and to theGovernment of Riau Province.
