Abstract

This research aims to develop settlements functional transmigration through improvedquality and environmental quality as well as the visual quality of transmigration areasin order to empower the community economy through the economic arrangement ofspaces.Data potential human resources (family and individual) were collected by questionnaireand registration list (cluster regristration). Data Processing conducted on all potentialhuman resources required data, tabulated in tables, graphs, sketches, maps based onthe variables /indicators profile, potential targetThe results showed that in an area of 1.200 ha will be able to accommodate as many as340 families of transmigration, with the composition of the population of transmigrants170 families locals and 170 families of transmigrants population of origin, where basedon land suitability assessed based on certain land restrictions grouped based on theproperties relatively equal, Tanjung Melayu transmigration settlement is designed todevelop superior commodities in the form of coconut and oil palm plantation withinterrupted activity could involve a pattern of fisheries aquaculture ponds as saltwaterfish, freshwater pond farming, cultivation of marine fish and shrimp floating net.With the enactment of the transmigration of blood will give impact to human resourcedevelopment that is expected to open job opportunities for 680 families that are spreadinto several business field crops, plantations, fisheries, livestock, trade, health &education to the characteristics of the age between 30-50 years and educational levelSD – SMPEmployment opportunities will be filled by the 510 families of transmigrants homeresidents and 170 households of the resettlement of local residents.
