PEMANGKASAN DAN APLIKASI BEBERAPA DOSIS PACLOBUTRAZOL TERHADAP PEMBENTUKAN UMBI KENTANG (Solanum tuberosum L)

Abstract

Potato seed represent one of constraint in effort potato product increase in Indonesia. Potato
seed which in production alone by farmer usually with quality lower and non special produced potato
for the seed. Ready effort of potato seed very needed to improve seed quality and amount. Stem
clippings and spraying of paclobutrazol represent ready handling alternative of seed with quality. This
research was conducted to see paclobutrazol dose and clipping which is have potency for potato
seed production. The research used factorial 3 x 3 in a Completely Randomized Design at Sc~en
House of BPTP Sukarami. The first factor was clipping; (1) apex of stems, (2) apex of stems+ ttp of
primary stems and (3) apex of stems + tip of primary stems + tip of secondary stems. The .s~nd
was paclobutrazol dose consist of (1) 5 ppm, (2) 7, 5 ppm and (3) 10 ppm. Result of research mdtcate
that do not there are clipping interaction with examinee paclobutrazol dose to forming of potato tuber.
Clipping apex of stem + tip of primary stems have potency to in forming of tuber from potato seed.
Paclobutrazol examinee dose not yet showed difference to forming of tuber from potato seed,
although paclobutrazol dose 7, 5 ppm yield highest tubers wight.
