KONTRIBUSI KINERJA KEPALA SEKOLAH DAN PERAN KOMITE SEKOLAH TERHADAP KEBERHASILAN MENAJEMEN BERBASIS SEKOLAH DI SD NEGERI KECAMATAN RUMBAI PESISIR
Abstract
This study was aimed (1) to analyze the contribution of the head teachers’
work performance towards the success of the School-Based-Management at the state
Elementary Schools (SD) in Rumbai Pesisir Sub-district; (2) to analyze the contribution
of the School Committee towards School-Based-Management at state elementary schools
in Rumbai Pesisir Sub-district; (3) to analyze the contribution of both head teachers’
performance and the role of the School Committee towards the success of School-Based-
Management at state elementary schools in Rumbai Pesisir Sub-district.The population
of the study was all elementary school teachers in Rumbai Pesisir Sub-district, Pekanbaru
totalling 387 teachers. The try-out of the instrument of the study was conducted towards
30 respondents. The validity of the items with correlation was tested using SPSS, and the
reliability of the instrument was tested through Alpha Cronbach. The study was carried
out through descriptive data testing, hypothesis testing and finding the contribution.The
findings of the study showed that (1) the contribution of the head teachers’ work
performance towards the success of the School-Based-Management at state elementary
schools in Rumbai Pesisir Sub-district was 15,2%; (2) the contribution of the role of the
School Committee towards the success of School-Based-Management at state elementary
schools in Rumbai Pesisir Sub-district was 15,2%; (3) the contribution of both head
teachers’ work performance and the role of the School Committee at the state elementary
schools in Rumbai Pesisir Sub-district reached 21%. Based on these results, it could be
concluded that the teachers’ work performance and the role of the School Committee at
the state elementary schools in Rumbai Pesisir Sub-district contributed to the success of
the School-Based-Management.
