PEMETAAN TINGKAT KEBISINGAN DI AREA HYDROCRACKER COMPLEX UNIBON REAKTOR PT. PERTAMINA REFINERY UNIT II DUMAI

Abstract


Noise levels mapping in Hydrocracker Complex Unibon Reaktor area of PT.Pertamina RU II Dumai has been carried out using direct measurements methods.The noise level was measured based on grid method that was designed with thedistances between each point are 5m. The noise level was measured using SoundLevel Meter (SLM). The measurement was done starting from 13 – 23 April 2015during the work day (08.00 until 15.00). The recorded data of noise levels weretabulated and then that data were input into software “surfer 11” to obtain noiselevel contour map. The results of measurement in general show that noise levelsin hydrocracker complex unibon reactor area are very high (above 93 dBA)compared to that of standard quality established by the labor minister‟s decisionnumber: KEP-51 / MEN / 1999 that is 85 dBA. The sources of noise areoriginated from reactor, pump and compressor system. Noise contour map inhydrocracker complex unibon reactor area consists of varieties of color such asyellow, green, blue, deep violet, red, and brown. The brown color of the contourmap implies that is the highest noise level (93,7 dBA) followed by red, deepviolet, blue , green and yellow wit he value of 92 dBA, 89.0 dBA, 86 dBA, 83dBA and 80 dBA respectively. The highest noise level are originated fromcompressor and followed by pump and reactor area with the value of (90,9-93,3dBA), (83,0-92,3dBA) and (82,3-92,8 dBA) respectively.
