Abstract

The inquiry right is not the right of investigation in the context of lawenforcement as conducted by the House of Representatives (DPR) when itinvestigated Bulogate, BLBI case, and others. The inquiry right is not intendedto find early evidence on the allegations of a criminal act has conducted. It willinvestigate the state of good governance in order to know the performance ofduties of the government and state budgeting. It is also to look for the materialsof policies formula, including an investigation of people to fill positions thatrequire approval and consideration of the DPR.
