Abstract

The purpose of thisstudy was to determine how the expansion of the Bank in Malaysia by CIMB Niaga in Indonesiaexpansion and why it happens. The method used is the method kualiatif research with secondarydata collection techniques through library research. Data were obtained and processed frombooks, journals, scientific articles and also websites that can be trusted. Hypotheses were analyzedusing techniques derived explanations with comparative studies. The research was conductedwith the unit of analysis mercantilist perspective Nation State. The results indicate a fundamentaldifference between the expansion of the Bank in Malaysia by CIMB Niaga in Indonesia due toregulatory differences in the two countries. Regulatory differences occurred because of differencesin national interests of each country.
