REKRUTMEN POLITIK CALON LEGISLATIF PEREMPUAN
Abstract
The objective of the study was to analyze the recruitment of female candidate legislative
candidates in the Golongan Karya Party, the Democratic Party, and the Justice and Unity Party of
Indonesia in the Lingga Regency of Riau Islands Province. The method used is a qualitative
approach, in which the data collected is not a number, but the data comes from interviews,
personal documents, memos and other official documents. The results showed that in selecting
and assigning women candidates to the Golkar Party, the Democratic Party, and the Indonesian
Justice and Unity Party prioritize women cadres sourced from party membership. These three
political parties have the same difficulties in the availability of women candidates candidates who
want to be nominated. The Golkar Party and the Democratic Party have the same problem in which
both parties have female cadres but are not willing to be nominated, thus making the party take
steps to recruit women candidates from outside the party. While PKPI candidates recruitment is
sourced from outside the party.
