Abstract

PT. Riau Air Line(RAL) is enterprises with substantial investment and long, it's just that other forms of "patron" andthe influence of the power of the elite, the political game style eventually led the airline 's bankruptcyon the door. This paper aims to examine the extent of PT. RAL has become a political tool for the elitein the area. The method used is qualitative. The results showed the political economy of the localelite in the PT. RAL led to the idea to set up business in the field of air transport materialize. Localelites utilize PT. RAL for the sake of their political economy. PT RAL used as a "scapegoat" in theinterest of wanting to straighten out the way implanted by the local elite. The impact of interferenceof local elites caused deterioration at PT. RAL.
