PELAKSANAAN PROGRAM PEMBERDAYAAN DESA

Abstract

The purpose of this study is todescribe the implementation of rural development programs and analyze the correspondencebetween the village empowerment program to the needs of people in the District Keritang IndragiriHilir. Theoretical framework used in this study is a theory about the village and empowerment.The method used is descriptive qualitative research methods using interactive model. The resultsshowed that the rural community empowerment program has performed well since 2005 untiltoday in some areas of development, namely the development of agriculture, human resourcedevelopment and the development of physical infrastructure and public facilities. Mismatchesthat occur in rural empowerment program to the needs of the community is that this program doesnot make communities self-sufficient.
