Abstract

This study aims to determine theimplementation of the duties and functions of the organization in the village and the factors thataffect the performance of duties which do not correspond to the fields in the field. This studyuses a qualitative approach with descriptive methods. Sources of data obtained from the primarydata through direct observation location headman’s office and the office of headman Ratu SimaBukit Datuk and interviews with key informants consisting of the village chief, section chief,implementers and community leaders. The results of this research is the implementation of theduties and functions of village organizations affected by the division of duties, delegation ofauthority, division of the department, and span of control. The factors that affect the performanceof duties is headman leadership, skill factors and psychological closeness factor/political.
