ANALISIS HUBUNGAN SOSIAL EKONOMI ANTARA PETANI KELAPA DAN TAUKE DI DESA TELUK KECAMATAN KUALA KAMPAR KABUPATEN PELALAWAN

Abstract

Humans in meeting their needs of life have to interact with other people, sothat emerge the patterns of social relationships in which that it is will eventuallytie them each other with the expectation of relatively stable. Desa Teluk District ofKuala Kampar majority of people work as coconut farmers where economicactivity is subsistence, depending on the nature and simple technology. with thestate to meet the needs of farmers susbsistensi make contact with the tauke.Further research is intended to analyze how the social relationship that existsbetween the economy and the coconut farmers employer, and wanted to knowwhat are the benefits and risks of such relationships. The theory was applied toexamine this problem is exchange theory, economics moral theory and rationaleconomic action. Furthermore, the method used is quantitative descriptive with asample of 10% of the population that is 373 head of families coconut farmers and3 person tauke with census techniques. Results from this study is there somepattern of relationship between farmers and tauke namely relations of production,accounts payable relations, social relations and relations of dependency. Benefitsof relationships obtained by farmers is their social security, ease of marketing andemployment. while the loss is the price of oil is determined by the tauke. Thebenefits derived tauke is a continuous availability of coconut farmers, marketmonopoly, determine the level of oil prices and the availability of cheap labor tobe employed in certain fields.
