Abstract


This study illustrates descriptively implementation of an organizationalculture that is deemed relevant to the context of the business environment that iscomplex and dynamic. With an assumption that the adaptive organizationalculture is a culture that is in accordance with the business environment, theinnovative and risk-taking, result oriented, work orientation to the formation ofthe team, has an aggressive attitude towards work and stressed the need for jobcreation sstabilitas. The method used was a survey, using a sample of 13employers and data collection techniques using a questionnaire and a structuredinterview. From the results of the study found that most employers or 84.62%already have and apply nlila-value organizational culture that is appropriate andrelevant to the business environment rattan, whereas 15.38% of employers stilllack the cultural values of the organization that are relevant to the environmentrattan handicraft businesses. Employers who have cultural values that areadaptive organizations tend to be found in the group of entrepreneurs who haveless experience than having or implementing cultural values that are relevant tothe business environment rattan craft industry.
